RANGE OF PRODUCTION

PRE-TREATMENT

IMEL has a long experience in surface treating plants, either by immersion or by spraying, as well as very good trade references and demanding customers who require the highest quality standards. IMEL has the know-how and technology to conceive plants for all kinds of surface treating, including those which are not necessarily involved with painting, such as degreasing, phosphating, pickling, conversion, nanotechnologies and other chemical treatments.

PAINTING WITH LIQUID OR POWDER PRODUCTS

The application of painting products implies technical problems which IMEL has resolved hundreds of times, thus creating a solid know-how which is always put at the disposal of the customer. Having constructed many plants meeting the highest quality standards, IMEL knows all the technical problems related to this painting method and has a long experience in the techniques that reduce the problem of over spray and obtain the maximum quality product.

ELECTROCOATING

IMEL has constructed electrocoating plants since the 1960’s and has very good trade references as well as demanding customers who require the highest quality standards. The electrocoating installations constructed by IMEL can paint a wide range of products, such as: washing machines, dishwashers , tractor cabs, windscreen wipers and other car components, batteries, vented batteries in Cu-Al, domestic radiators, medical equipment and so forth.

PORCELAIN ENAMEL

IMEL constructs plants for all kinds of enamelling: liquid or electrostatic powder painting, direct white, special "combined" systems and chemical ground, "two coats one fire" cycles. The installations for enamel painting can treat a wide range of products, such as: pots, baths, ovens and kitchen work tops, boilers, radiators, sheathings for building and so forth.

SPECIAL PLANTS

These are the result of research and experimentation by IMEL and are used in different sectors. They include: Painting of metal sheets and profiles; Painting of small items in large quantities; Painting of big sheet-metal drums; Automatic machines for pot enamelling; Drying plants; Pyrolytic stripping ovens; Plants with fluidised bed for thermoplastic coating.
